Mark grew up locally and after completing his degree in London and his Law Society Finals in Guildford he returned to his roots and has always worked in the East Anglian region. He qualified as a Solicitor in November 1993 and specialised in property work with a mixed case load of residential and developer work. Mark started his career with Jackamans before moving to Bankes Ashton (now Ashtons Legal) in Bury St. Edmunds where he was promoted to Head of the Residential Property Department and invited to join the Partnership.
Following some 18 years with Ashtons, Mark joined the partnership of Charles Fraser & Co. in February 2014.
He enjoys the mix of work and believes that the partnership has a breadth of knowledge to ably deal with a variety of property matters but at the same time is small enough to enable a personal tailored service to be provided to clients and for relationships, which often span more than one generation of a client’s family, to be built.
Mark is married with two children and when not in the Office he enjoys exploring the countryside and coastal areas of the region, running and “pottering” (which covers a multitude of ways to spend time!). He advises several local charities on general matters and attends the Forge Community Church based in Eye.
